I have the sweetest blended family and three small dogs (though it would be closer to 8 if my husband was into it). I met my husband when I was 10 years old and married him when we were 33. I prefer hiding behind my camera over being in front of it. Before I was a wedding and portrait photographer, I was a social worker (that’s what I actually went to college for). I am constantly inspired by the stories of my lovely clients (which is what keeps me going year after year) and I’ve spent the last 11 years documenting weddings and portraits, perfecting my craft and educating others. I’d love to photograph you, too.
From beginning to end, I strive to bring you the most unique and personalized experience down to the very last detail. Whether this means documenting the growing bump, your baby’s first steps or your vows of love, these timeless images will be passed down for generations, creating an heirloom that exists for the rest of forever. My main goal is to capture your connection with each other in a way that feels real and natural. I want you to truly see yourself (and your people) in the images I create for you.
The clients who adore working with me are those who want their real connection captured and shared. You want little posing (but plenty of direction), true-to-life colors, artful imagery and a really calm, fun time together. You may not always love being in front of the camera, but you know it will hurt a lot less when you're prepared & excited for the final product.
