Andrea and Chris chose to have a very intimate ceremony and reception so they could truly focus on every moment of their day. With their 26 person guest list (which may have included them), they set out to have the best day ever at Norumbega Inn in Camden, Maine. This venue is absolutely stunning and typically they don’t offer full weddings there – but with the small crew and big wedding day dreams – they made it all come true! The staff at Norumbega was extremely welcoming and kind from offering to carry MY bags up to the bridal suite to going to the store specifically for chocolate milk, as requested by the little ones. The chef delivered some delicious food (he was on Chopped, so we had no doubt it would be incredible) and I worked alongside Jeff with Ready Set Film with ease all day! (If you’re looking for amazing vendors and you’ve booked me already – I can send you some of the best names in the biz).
Although it was supposed to rain for the entire wedding day, the skies cleared just in time for Andrea and Chris to tie the knot. Their emotions were at the top as Andrea walked down the aisle (which was really a big hill, but she crushed it) and Chris watched her from the ceremony site. As they said their vows and sealed them with a kiss, we capture all of their family portraits (and then some!) and headed to downtown Camden for some alone time (aka, time for bride and groom portraits). There is certainly nothing more beautiful than the Camden Harbor behind these two. Once we returned to Norumbega, we joined cocktail hour and spent more time with their family. Although not a complete traditional wedding, it sure did boast some beautiful moments! I absolutely adored this day and these people and I am so grateful to have been the one to capture it all.
