When Kristina contacted me to discuss booking her wedding I was so honored! Kristina is a photographer in Massachusetts and she has a great eye for detail. I knew in our first conversation that I had to book them because our visions just aligned so well. Wonderfully enough – they DID choose me as their photographer and our mission to find the perfect lavender field was on! We changed locations multiple times but in the end Moore Manor Lavender in Newport, ME was our destination. What I loved about it was: the owners were extremely responsive and welcoming, the rows of lavender were plenty + had grass in between them (looking more natural than other spots in Maine), there were more locations than just the field (we went into the forest in the background and even in the tall grass!) and there was plenty of space if there happens to be more than one photographer there at a time. You can see the deep undertones of our session had a lot of purple in them – part of shooting in a space with lots of purple around. I loved it and Kristina’s dress was perfection. The love these two have for each other is obvious (especially since Kevin let Kristina dress him up and he snuggled her like a pro). Not all men love having their photos taken, I totally understand this, but Kevin can tell you that it really isn’t that bad. Your only job is to love the person who you chose to marry and you already do that, soo… what are you waiting for?
