Natalya and Brett love the ocean and their pups. For their session, they really wanted to capture their love in the place they call home. Once we decided they would have a Maine beach engagement session, we met in their yard (with the dreamiest light) and started by throwing sticks to their two doggos. It was important that their love of their dogs was also featured along with their love for each other – so a mini session with their dogs was a MUST HAVE. Natalya is also a photographer (and a great one, so what an honor to be asked to photograph the two of them) and Brett is in catering (yum) – in other words, they’re well-entwined with the wedding world. As they plan their own wedding, they’re seeing the good, the bad and the ugly but are also realizing that they already have what matters the most. (Each other… and the dogs).
After we played with their pups, we headed down the road to the insanely beautiful beach in their “back yard”. The beach was empty (which makes sense for us in Maine since it was October). Maine sunsets are usually extra beautiful in October, as a result, Natalya & Brett’s session was extra dreamy. My goal (for all of my clients) is to capture your truth in love and light. I’m a lover of ethereal images and romance so my focus is always on those two things. Similarly, joy is an obsession… Give me your joy, I could live off of it. Your session can be the perfect mix of passion, love, and joy… trust me. Photovision scanned and processed all of the film images within this Maine beach engagement session.
